With the advance of new urbanization and the construction of the national urban agglomeration, higher requirements are put forward for the planning and construction of urban road network. Urban Curved Viaduct can meet the complex requirements of the line selection,and make the city traffic more three-dimensional and level. However, with the extensive use of this kind of bridge, the seismic problem is becoming more and more prominent. As the Urban Curved Viaduct is located in the core area of the city, its destruction will bring immeasurable economic losses and social impact. The study of the seismic response of the Urban Curved Viaduct can enrich the seismic theory of the bridge,and also can provide guidance for bridge detection and reinforcement work. As a result, the research has significant practical significance.In this thesis, the following research work is mainly carried out according to the seismic response of curved ramp bridges:1.The spatial FE model is established by using the general-purpose FE software ANSYS.By adjusting the radius, pier height and support type of a curved ramp bridge, the influence of those effect to the dynamic characteristics of the curved ramp bridge are discussed;2. The spectrum response analysis of earthquake are applied to the curved ramp bridge, the internal force and displacement of this structure are obtained. By analyzing the response spectrum analysis on this curved ramp bridges,the critical angle of input of earthquake ground motions are discussed.3. The time-history analysis of earthquake are applied to the curved ramp bridge. By analyzing the response time history analysis on the curved ramp bridges,the influence of different seismic wave input on seismic response of curved beam are discussed.Through this study shows that for curved viaduct, because of their space force characteristics, we need to pay attention to the condition of support,the pier height and the radius of plane curve. At the same time in the selection of a small curve radius, by considering the longitudional and transverse of the curved viaduct, the influence of different direction to the particular location must be considered.
