As a device with high spatial-temporal and sensitivity characteristics, streak camera is widely used in many fields, such as biology, chemistry, and dynamic spectrograph. Especially, X-ray streak camera play an increasingly important role in Inertial Confined Fusion experiments.With the development of the laser fusion experiment, diagnostic equipment with great performance are needed to analyze the complicate physical process of laser fusion in detail and accurately. Thus some absolute values can be obtained, such as the temperature in hohlraum, albedo, transfer efficiency, radiation spectrum, etc., using these parameters, some parameters such as internal explosion, erosion, transportation can be calculated. The X-ray streak camera can only measure the relative amount of the radiation spectrum, rather than the absolute amount at present, so it is necessary to calibrate the spectral response of the streak camera when improving the performance of X-ray streak camera, such as spatial-temporal resolution, dynamic range and linearity. A new effective calibration scheme is designed based on the response of X-ray streak camera. The main contents of the paper are shown below:1)Analyzing and researching the characteristics of various kinds of the spectrometer and X-ray diagnose device at home and abroad. Due to the highly spectral resolution and planar focus plane, holographic flat field grating is chosen as spectrometer in experiment at last. Because X-ray CCD has the virtue of operating easily and measuring data accurately, it is chosen as criterion device.2) Since the sensitive surface of X-ray CCD can be polluted easily by oil in target chamber, which would lead to change the spectral response of CCD. Therefore, we should re-calibrate the spectral response of X-ray CCD before the experiment. The calibration experiment was carried out in Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility, the calibration results show that the sensitive surface of X-ray CCD has been contaminated and the spectral response curve has C absorption edge.3) Designed and manufactured two flat field grating spectrograph device.4)Setting up the experimental platform based on a 2×100J Target chamber to calibrate the spectral response of X-ray streak camera. Fist, adjusting the incident angles of grating equals to 88.6°(X-ray CCD and X-ray streak camera isn’t installed in thisstrep without). Install X-ray CCD and X-ray streak camera after the incident angle is fixed. Hydrocarbon, Al, Ta, Cu are chosen as the material of target. Since the the power of the laser is unadjustable and unstable, several experiment are needed to get the clear image. Finally, changing the target material into Au, and the continuous spectrum of Au can be measured simultaneously.5) Processed and calculated data according to the theory of calibration to get the spectral response curve of X-ray streak camera.
