Channel occupys an important position in field irrigation,which is mainly responsible for the important task of water to the field.In order to prevent erosion and reduce the amount of water seepage, channel lining is necessary. The most used lining material in our country is concrete,but the plain concrete lining belongs to thin plate structure, which is extremely easy to crack during construction and operation period,leding to a great reduction of the utilization ratio of water resources. Our country is ongoing many irrigation improvement project, thereby improving crack resistance of lining has important practical significance.The study found that mixing with rubber particles in concrete directly can significantly improve the deformation capacity of concrete, ensure the compactness of concrete, toughness and impact resistance; incorporation of rubber particles after modified in concrete can enhance the bonding effect between rubber particles and cement, improve various properties of rubber concrete, reduce the occurrence of lining crack more easily.In this paper, the application of rubber concrete and rubber modified concrete in channel lining are studied, the main research contents are:(1)Choose a site for a prototype test of rubber concrete channel lining, observe temperature, earth pressure, strain and cracking cases of lining plates during the test,and analyze the crack resistance of concrete lining plate with different plate length,different thickness and different types of lining concrete.(2)Calculate the temperature field and temperature stress, humidity field and dry shrinkage stress of the lining plate with finite element analysis software ANSYS during the construction period, superpose the temperature stress and shrinkage stresses, and analyze the stress and crack of lining plates during construction period.(3)Calculate the stress and strain and settlement laws of different plate length,thickness and different concrete lining plate under different load of water during load period with finite element analysis software ANSYS, and analyze the crack and leakage of lining plate under water pressure.(4) Contrast the prototype test and finite element calculations results, the results show that the crack resistance of rubber concrete and modified rubber concrete is better than common concrete, it’s very suitable for the application in channel lining project.
