With the improvement of living standards and the progress of technology, more and more people pay attention to the security field, and the video surveillance system is a hot spot in the field of security. At the same time, all kinds of intelligent equipment quantity of explosive growth in recent years, video surveillance system is moving in the digital, intelligent, networked, humane direction. Traditional video surveillance system has been unable to meet the requirements of "anytime, anywhere", because of its low processing ability, poor scalability, and can not be used in real-time monitoring and control of intelligent terminals. Users prefer to mobile, real-time, high-definition portable monitoring.Under this background, this paper designs a Android based streaming media video surveillance system. It combines the wireless transmission of high definition video and the real-time display of the intelligent terminal, and carries out real-time monitoring and control of the monitoring area on the Android mobile device software. The system is divided into four functional modules: video information collection function module, server video data processing module, network information exchange module and terminal processing function module. System is very good to meet at any place and time through the intelligent terminal to view the video image needs of the monitoring area for the national grid enterprises to provide more intelligent convenient and user-friendly intelligent security.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Conduct research on the development of video surveillance at home and abroad, clear the direction of its development and the premise of cutting-edge technology combined with the project needs to determine the research objectives.(2)Through the research, analysis and comparison of the current situation of the development of the convection media technology, so as to determine the structure of the monitoring system design, process and related technologies.(3)Design and develop Neijiang city national power grid video surveillance subsystem, complete the overall design and detailed design of the Android based streaming media real-time monitoring system.(4)Complete the coding implementation and testing of the system, after the field test, the terminal can display real-time video and video, the server is stable, the system functions basically meet the design requirements.Real-time video monitoring system in this paper, the design of the overall framework of C / S mode, according to the actual situation of power supply company, The system is mainly through the mobile camera to capture the surveillance area of the real-time image of the video(such as operation monitoring center, dispatching center, power station, substation, etc.) of the real-time image and video, and real-time video information is sent to the Android client. In order to achieve a full range of real-time monitoring of the company’s key sectors of the data, feedback transmission line dynamic data adjustment, adjust the personnel configuration in a timely manner to the data set and related operations, and improve the transmission capacity of transmission lines.
