In the context of the world to develop new energy, the popularization of electric vehicles is becoming more and more popular. The power battery is the main carrier of the energy of the electric vehicle, especially the pure electric vehicle, and its performance directly affects the performance of the electric vehicle. More and more attention has been paid to the research of the electric vehicle power battery.The performance of the battery is constantly improving, and the requirements of the battery related testing technology is also getting higher and higher. Aiming at the test problem of power battery used in electric vehicle, this paper designs and develops a software system for testing and analyzing high power battery based on the analysis of the battery model and the estimation of the SOC of the battery and the simulation of the dynamic performance of the electric vehicle. The main research content of this paper are as follows:(1) In this paper, the parameters of the model are identified by HPPC experiments. According to the SOC definition of the lithium battery model and the state of charge of the battery, the estimation method of SOC based on EKF is studied with SOC as the estimated parameter, and the effect of SOC estimation based on Thevenin battery model is verified. In addition, based on the Thevenin battery model and the SOC calculation method, the function of analog battery charging and discharging is realized, and the performance of the battery is tested through the simulation of the battery charge and discharge.(2) At present, the electric vehicle simulation software focuses on the simulation of the vehicle and the lack of support for the battery test or can not meet the needs of the battery test research. In addition, Electric vehicle power battery for simulation of automotive driving test conditions often need real vehicle operation to obtain the data, not only the high cost, cycle is long, and the different road conditions and driving strategy obtained data is large difference. The combination of battery testing technology and ADVISOR which is developed in the MATLAB platform is a significant characteristic of this system. Both the reliability and professional advantages of the electric vehicle simulation software are maintained, and the pertinence of the battery test is also reflected. The complementary combination of the two provides a low cost and high efficiency idea for test and analysis of power battery. In addition, this paper uses AHP of system engineering to evaluate the performance of the power battery of electric vehicle.(3) This article finally has carried on the system testing, including the module test and by adding hardware platform to verify the system’s accuracy and practicality. The test results show that the whole system can run stably, and the system function meets the design requirements of the system, which meets the needs of the power battery test.
