The new two teeth difference external gear transmission was first developed by Italy COME’S company in 1990s, Which soon be applied in polishing head, for novel transmission mode、simple structure、large transmission ratio、 high transmission efficiency. Later, this polishing equipment was introduced and developed in china, There were some representative manufacturers, such as, Coda、 Kexi、Department of XinDa ltd. But compared with foreign similar products, the polishing head was developed in China has large noise、short life、high rate of defects of broken bricks. The high quality and performance of the realization of polishing head were seriously affected by gear life and failure rate. How to improve the working efficiency and the service life of the polishing head has been the goal which domestic and foreign research and development staff to pursue and intractable problem. For performance deficiencies of domestic polishing grinding head, in order to improve the quality and the service life of the grinding head, a new kind of palnetary gear transmission structure form was proposed with two tooth difference, this kind of new structure has the advantages of simple structure、transmission ratio、high transmission efficiency、 strong stability、long life and other advantages. Because of the two teeth difference external meshing double planetary gear transmission is a novel way of transmission, domestic and foreign scholars are on the little research, especially less in the study of the dynamic characteristics of this new type of composite double planetary gear train, so the new type of transmission dynamics and vibration mode research has very important theoretical significance and application value.dynamics and vibration mode of this new structure was analyzed, basing on a novel two teeth difference external meshing double planetary gear transmission structure and performance characteristics, the dynamic model of the new type transmission system was built by using mathematical equations, pure torsion dynamics model was established by using the generalized coordinate transformation and matrix vector method; Translational and torsional dynamics model was built by mathematical equations and matrix construction, the vibration force and acceleration was solved by using related theories of mathematics and mechanics knowledge, and the vibration modal was studied combined with MATLAB software; The first ten order modes and effects of system parameters on the modal are obtained, according to the vibration characteristics study of two tooth difference gear duplex planetary gear transmission system, and combined with ANSYS software to simulate the free modal; In order to improve the international competitiveness of the domestic polishing grinding head, based on two teeth difference gear duplex planetary gear transmission dynamics of results in the light of the actual conditions, the corresponding damping and average load of the measures were given.To avoid this type of transmission system of the internal motivation and external excitation of the same, the study of polishing head has a long-term guiding significance and practical application value, and has laid a certain theoretical basis to improve its domestic polishing grinding head performance.
