With the rapid development of modern society, cars act as the most critical vehicles in our life, increasing number of cars has brought convenient for us, but also exerted some global issues that could not be ignored such as energy shortage, environmental pollution and so on. The development of pure electric buses which is environmental friendly, zero-emission and energy-saving has attracted the whole world’s attention.Pure electric bus was characterized by having more internal space and lower maximum speed and other advantages, it is able to carry more batteries and be arranged in the form of more flexible which results in further driving range. Besides the tour line of the pure electric bus runs relatively fixed, so it is much more convenient to charge, repair and maintain the car. Therefor the promotion and application of the market about pure electric bus is quite available.This paper is produced from Hebei Province Key Scientific and Technological Projects—study in pure electric vehicle, based on BEV6120 pure electric bus that is still manufactured by an enterprise. The main contents of this article include the following:(1) We designed the specifications according to the basic dynamics and economic parameters of the total vehicle, and designed in detailed to match and select the powertrain components of the vehicle.(2) This paper established the vehicle simulation models by ADVISOR software including motors, batteries, tires, drivetrain models. The simulation results fulfill the design requirements of dynamic. Then we experiment the dynamic and economic tests of the model prototype BEV6120 under the relevant regulations. The test results certificate the feasibility and rationality of the matching selection and the model compared with the simulation results.(3) In order to provide explanations and theoretical basis for enterprises to improve the products, this thesis uses ISIGHT software as a optimization platform, jointly optimizing the transmission ratio by integrating ADVISOR, finding the scenario of the optimal ratio of the drive train in a feasible region by adopting the optimization technique.(4) This paper proposes that the fluctuations of operating parameters of the pure electric bus in the actual operation process will exert impact to energy consumption andeconomy, and being confirmed by the method of interval mathematics, and then analyzing the sensitivity of operating parameters by using Range analysis based on orthogonal array to obtain the sequence affections that conducted by operating parameters to the energy consumption. Accordingly we can control operating parameters targeted to reduce energy consumption and improve the energy economy of the pure electric bus.
