Study On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Healthy City Construction Of Three Cities In Zhejiang Province

Healthy City is a new strategies for action promoted by World Health Organization in the 21st century facing urbanization challenges to human health. Healthy city became a global movement in the world since healthy city proposed firstly in conference in Toronto, Canada in 1984.China is in the stage of rapid urbanization,and the"Thirteen-Five" planning has put "Healthy China" into national strategies,healthy city project is fit to carry out the current developments.City A, B, C have their own characteristics in Zhejiang Province, and they had carried out the healthy city for nearly eight years, and achieved certain results.This study will explore internal and external environment from the perspective of SWOT analysis. Internal environment includes advantages and disadvantages of three cities. Advantages will be studied from the angles of geography, resources, population economic situation, policy environment and public participation of three cities. Disadvantages will be studied from the evaluation indicators, sustainability, sectoral cooperation, funding and public satisfaction of three cities. The external environment faced by three cities includes opportunities and challenges. Opportunities include that, healthy city is the inevitable result of the urbanization,and it has been cared by the country What’s more, health city and civilized city have been created by three cities, which could be a well foundation, and some private organizations began to care about the healthy city, and city B gained the permanent right to host World Internet Conference, and the public have great confidence and demand to healthy city.Healthy City will face the challenge of radical difficulties of urban envi ronmental pollution, increasing traffic, growing population aging, imperfect chronic disease management, residents’ low forming rate of healthy behavior, and the gaps of urban and rural development and so on. At last, some strategies will be proposed based on the ideas that taking advantages and opportunities, overcome weaknesses and resolve challenges. At last, considering the past and based the future-oriented thinking, a SWOT strategy will be proposed, including SO strategy, WO strategy, ST strategy, WT strategy.Through analysis of combination of the internal and external factors, the studyproposed some strategy for practice,which include taking advantage of healthy China policy, playing their advantage of resources, paying attention to civil organization, developing assessment index, completing the construction policy, strengthening sectoral cooperation, increasing the fund, improving health service, refining the system of communication, vigorously advocating public traffic, increasing attention to healthy city, and improving the social security system.
