| Walking space is the carrier of walking behavior, which has high ecological value, cultural value and social value.A good walking space environment can change residents’ bad living habits and improve public health. At present, many pedestrian space design practices lack attention to health, especially in mountainous cities, there are still some problems, which can not meet the health needs of residents, which is not beneficial to the development of residents’ physical and mental health. In order to change the current situation of walking space in mountain cities, weaken the adverse impact of walking environment on public health and improve the healing of walking space, based on the theory of healthy city, starting from the health needs of mountain residents, this paper puts forward the healthy travel needs of mountain residents and the space needs under healthy behavior, and defines the constituent elements of walking space in Mountain Cities Based on the walking environment characteristics of different space demand levels,Taking 20 pedestrian lanes in Wanzhou District of Chongqing as an example, with the help of multi-source data such as DEM data,POI data, questionnaire survey data and quantitative methods such as GIS,SPSS and Amos, this paper summarizes the current situation of pedestrian space in mountainous cities, explores the optimization strategy of pedestrian space in Mountainous Cities under the concept of healthy city, and provides new design ideas for the construction of pedestrian space in mountainous cities. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Construct the impact framework of the concept of healthy city and pedestrian space environment, find that a healthy(high-quality)pedestrian space environment can improve the level of public health, and elaborate the promotion effect of the concept of healthy city on pedestrian space design from four aspects: spiritual connotation, design mode, public space and emergency system.(2)Based on the space demand level of safety and convenience, fun and vitality and pleasant communication,12 elements of pedestrian space are proposed, including pedestrian accessibility, slope, ground pavement and road facilities;Spatial scale, pedestrian congestion, service facilities and spatial type;Green viewing rate, sky rate, landscape sketch, building facade.Through practical test,it is found that walking accessibility is not significantly related to health,so this factor is eliminated.(3)Through the analysis of material environment and social environment, this paper summarizes the current situation of pedestrian space in Mountainous Cities: low road safety, poor spatial vitality and poor pedestrian experience.(4)Combined with the level of space demand and current problems, this paper puts forward 11 optimization strategies of walking space in mountain cities under the concept of healthy city, including gentle walking slope, flat ground pavement and perfect road facilities;Pleasant spatial scale, appropriate pedestrian flow, rich service facilities and various spatial types;Comfortable ecological landscape, broad sky vision, warm landscape sketches and regular architectural facade. |
