Reinforced concrete underground silos is a special bin granary, It mainly used the constant low temperature of underground environment and the excellent characteristics of airtight condition, the small occupation area and the convenient mechanized operation of grain in-out storehouse will make it become the mainstream trends of grain storage in the future. In the reinforced concrete underground granary storage, however, the consequences caused by condensation problem such as grain moisture, mildew etc, were extremely serious. Foam concrete with good porosity has absorption ability and moisture absorption performance can be used as a kind of lining material of underground silos wall, which absorbs the moisture of condensation, so as to solve the problem of condensation, accordingly accelerates the widespread promotion of the underground silos.This experiment firstly produced foam concrete block of different influence factors, with three different species and concentration foaming agent, different size porosity, and the way of standard and natural curing to make 50 groups of 100 *100*100mm^3 foam concrete cube block. Referenced about foam concrete dry density test method, water absorption test method, and the compressive strength test in the Foam Concrete Industry Standard. Finally it is concluded that the water absorption of foam concrete block in standard curing condition with 2.0% concentration of 3-2 type foaming agent of 60% porosity reached the peak value of 19.55%, used optimal ratio of water absorption test to make 14 groups of foam concrete block. For moisture absorption test, considering moisture content of foam concrete to reflect the moisture absorption performance of foam concrete block, measured its moisture content changes in the simulation of the condensation environment with the increasing of time. Results showed that its moisture content increased obviously in the first 7 days, tended to be stable when it goes the 30 days, With the increasing of time, moisture content is no longer growing significantly.Use grain ventilation CAE equation of expressed in absolute humidity and relative humidity to conduct its maximum condensation theoretical value calculation, in combination with its soakage during the test of water absorption and moisture absorption rate, verified whether the foam concrete can be fully absorbed water caused by condensation. Results showed that in the calculation of underground silos, foam concrete could absorb storehouse wall condensation water. Yang Sen formula as the main basis for calculation of reinforced concrete underground granary warehouse wall lateral pressure, combined with the foam concrete compressive strength test results, verified whether the foam concrete meet the strength requirement as underground granary warehouse wall lining material, the results showed that it did.based on the analysis of reinforced concrete underground silos dewing reasons, calculates the maximum condensation, study the absorption ability, moisture absorption performance, basic mechanical performance of foam concrete, verified the feasibility and necessity of foam concrete as reinforced concrete underground granary warehouse wall lining material, and connected with the actual construction technology, given the feasibility construction points of foam concrete as granary warehouse wall lining material.
