Research All Regional City Public Square Space Design

The rapid development of economy and society leads the human society to global economic and social integration,although it represents the progress of economy and society, but also inevitably has produced a lot of negative influence,reflected in the design field,is the world scities are in the same or similar design techniques to create acity style,traditional culture and regional characteristics gradually abandoned,to Qiancheng side phenomenon more and more serious, the residents of the city’s identity and sense of belonging is also gradually lost. This was reflected in China’s urbanconstruction,especially in urban public square space design in this exotic, many urbanpublic square space design blindly copy or imitate the design of domestic and foreign outstanding, ignoring the regional culture and the traditional pattern,the blind pursuit ofthe so-called western concept of behavior caused afatal blow to the traditional style ofme country and regional culture characteristics influence.In this paper,through the analysis of the origin and development of domestic and international city plaza evolution,comparative analysis of the development of westerncity square in the similarities and differences on the characteristics of urban publicspace of square and the existing problems. Through the introduction of the regional culture characteristics of design,analysis and recognition of local regional culturedesign identity relationship strong and adapt to the era of development, analysis theconcept and method of urban public space of square design summary of regional culture characteristics, finally Hangzhou Wushan Square as the research object,through specific case to understand how to understand and use the geographical and cultural characteristics to the design of city public square.
