At present, China’s urbanization process continues to accelerate, and urban traffic pressure is also increasing. In order to relieve traffic congestion and bring more convenience to travelers, a large number of high-speed roads, bridges and other facilities have been constructed to relieve traffic pressure. Meanwhile, traffic accidents caused by road icing and road waterlogging, a major risk of travel safety, have become more and more serious. Travel safety is concerned increasingly. It is urgent for developing road icing sensor and road waterlogging sensor.The main work of this dissertation is as follows:1. Developing a fiber-optic icing sensor with multi-light pathsThe existing reflective fiber-optic icing sensor has some shortcomings, for example, its measurement range is small and its anti-interference ability is weak. Based on the reflective fiber-optic icing sensor, a fiber-optic icing sensor with multi-light paths is presented. The software and hardware are designed.2. Road waterlogging detection system is designedSeveral typical road waterlogging detection systems are compared, and the actual requirements are considered. Finally, the MPXV4006 is chosen to set up the road waterlogging detection system, and the software and hardware is realized. The experimental results show this sensor has larger measurement range and higher accuracy than reflective fiber-optic icing sensor.3. The sensors modelingThe Support Vector Regression (SVR) is used to modeling these two sensors. The Ant Colony Algorithm based on grid strategy is improved, and then it is used to optimize the parameters of SVR.
