Investigation And Study Of City Rail Transit Transfer Station Square’s Use Behavior In Beijing

With the rapid development of rail transit construction, the station square space has become an extension of the city square and an important part of urban public space. On the one hand it is to provide people the transportation space, on the other hand is the surrounding urban space in public activities and leisure space.The paper research object is Beijing rail transit transfer station.After the site survey for the first time,176 station squares will be statistical classification according to the function, area, location and so on.And then we do deep research on typical cases, by behavior observation and notes, use a line observation research methods, related to stay on their travel behavior and conduct in-depth research.Passing traffic station squares will selecte Guojiatushuguan A Station Square,Xierqi Station Square,Jianguomen B Station Square.Both transit and recreational function will selecte Xidan, Guloudajie E,Dongdan,Shaoyaoju four station squares. Through action and stay for 10 hours of continuous observation,make the square of the user’s travel path, category, location, behavior information in graphic language such as identified in the plan,then research and analysis.Through research and analysis the seven typical case of use behavior and study the relationship influence between people,behavior,environment.According environmental psychology related theory and consumer behavior characteristics and rules,put forward Beijing rail transit transfer station station square transformation strategy and provide a reference for future construction of rail transit station square.
