With the development of semi physical simulation technology recently, more development and technology research of power electronic projects have been using the advanced technical means which is hardware in-the-loop simulation. A Semi Physical Simulation System include hardware simulation platform and corresponding simulation software. Based on the principle analysis, MATLAB simulation and FPGA simulation, this paper makes a deep research on the circuit virtual model of the hardware in the loop simulation system.Based on discussing several kinds of modeling methods for switches and modeling theory of corresponding circuit, selecting two resistance switching device model and the improved node method for circuit modeling analyzes the operation process of several typical power electronic circuits, and then establish the matrix equations iterative model. The experiment that compares the simulation result by the MATLAB programming and the modules in Simulink Power System toolbox is necessary to prove the modeling method of two resistance switching model. By modifying the logic of the switch, the results of the compared simulation experiment are consistent, and the related modeling theory of the circuit model that is established by the two value resistance method is improved. In circuit simulation model of the FPGA implementation, a brief introduction of the operation principle of the 32-bit floating-point addition, subtraction and multiplication, and buck circuit as an example, introduces the simulation model of MATLAB program is transformed Verilog code for the FPGA implementation of the general method, focusing on the analysis of the structure and timing design of the FPGA program. For the circuit virtual model of FPGA, the function of the program is verified by ModelSim simulation in turn, and the circuit data of the corresponding MATLAB simulation program is compared with the Buck circuit, and the result is obtained.
