Since the 20th century, with the progress of science, the development of national economic,urban traffic has also entered an unprecedented period of development.Curved girder bridge has become an indispensable bridge type in modern traffic engineering because of its beautiful appearance flexible line-type, convering small area.With the increasing number of curved girder bridge,the damage of the lateral displacement appears more frequently.Therefore,the research and analysis of the lateral displacement are significant both theoretically and pratically.The following work is done in this article:1)In this thesis,based on a lots of documents.the development of curved bridge,domestic and international research profile and the common diseases in the process of construction and operation are discussed.And the thesis introduces the basic mechanical characteristics and the related theories of computation,including the shear-flexible grillage theory,of pre-stressed concrete curved continuous girder bridge.Comparing temperature gradient in the Bridge Design Criteria of China and that in other countries,both vertical and horizontal temperature gradient are recommended to be considered in the calculation of response of curved girder bridge.2)With suitable models established by finite element method and related theory,the author analyzes the impacts on lateral displacement from various factors such as gravity,pre-stress,creep,shrinkage,temperature effects,bearing settlement and vehicle loads. Additionally,according to the analysis of the mechanism and the models, the influence law of each factor was summarized.3)The mechanical response and the displacement of curved girder bridge models supported by different support system is analyzed under the combinations of various loads and effcets.With all-torsion-bearing support system and setting single hinged bearing suppor system,the impacts of exponential type and line type horizontal temperature gradients on the lateral displacement of curved girder bridge are calculated.4)Based on the conclusion obtained,corresponding measures and methods are proposed to prevent lateral displacement. The results of numerical simulation and mechanical analysis validate the exactness and feasibilit of each method.therefore,the behaviour of the pre-stressed concrete curved continuous girder bridge with small radius is comprehensively understood,and the results of this thesis can provide a reference for the design of curved girder bridge with complex conditions.Moreover,the conclusions can provide some guidance for the issues of bridge of the lateral displacement.
