With the large-scale use of the curved continuous bridge, however, itself features ofloading and deformation make radial displacement of the body too large, which also makesthe curved bridge`s abutments generally appeared empty partly and lateral displacement is toolarge, or even a serious accident bean rollover. Understanding the process of using the variousfactors affecting the curved bridge is helpful to take the appropriate limit for the measure isnecessary.Taking an bridge as the experimental basis, combined with the actual disease appeared inthe bridge, we build the finite element model. So we analysis of the factors which includeconstant load, temperature gradient, temperature difference, moving vehicles and initial defectof bridge pier for the curved bridge lateral displacement effects. In addition, we use theresponse spectrum method to reveal the response law of spatial curved bridge underearthquake of E1and E2.The research topics include the following aspects:1. With the calculation and analysis, studied the role of several factors which includesconstant load, temperature gradient, temperature difference, moving vehicles and initialdefect of bridge pier above to research the reaction force of abutment and the displacementof bridge girder body.2. According to the reaction force of abutment and the displacement of each factor, moving vehicles (centrifugal force) is the dominant factor in the lateral displacement of thecurved bridge.3. Taking the pier by stiffness reduction to simulate the initial defect, we were analyzedunder various initial defect setting displacement of the beam.4. Using the response spectrum method calculate E1, E2bridge response in case ofearthquake, we studied the top displacement of the pier under earthquake and the result canplay a role as a reference to set up limit measures under the seismic action.5. Comparison between the actual value and the theoretical value and cited severalapplicable limit measures.
