The electronic endoscope has significant research and application value in the industrial field. The video processing system is the core part of the electronic endoscope system, and also the key link of the performance index of the electronic endoscope. This article according to the modern electronic endoscope in the video image quality, real time and more practical and reliable auxiliary function, growing demand, developed an electronic endoscope video processing system based on FPGA, the target image to image acquisition, processing, transmission, display, storage and other processing.The development and present situation of electronic endoscope, FPGA technology and video image processing technology is studied in this article. According to the current development situation and development trend of the auxiliary function enrichment and system integration, the overall research scheme of the video processing system based on FPGA is designed. At the same time in the use of electronic endoscope, Monitor ambient space with real time and full range, in order to the occurrence of unexpected situations can be implemented as soon as possible and effective treatment measures, as far as possible to provide a strong guarantee for the safety of the personnel and the normal work of important instruments and meters.Further completed the acquisition and display module design of electronic endoscope and four road monitoring video, which mainly include the DDR3 image cache module, bt656 decoding module, scaling module and video splicing module, and through the window of 3X3 optimization of the electronic endoscope, the image quality has been improved. At the same time, it has completed the design of the peripheral interface module of the system, mainly including SD card module and the Gigabit Ethernet module, which provide the hardware foundation for data transmission between the system and PC. Through the study of high-speed PCB layout, other related knowledge and the past design experience of making circuit PCB, the hardware circuit board of the system was designed and manufactured.After the various modules of the continuous debugging, modification, complete the individual modules of the test. On this basis, after debugging, modification, the successful implementation of the software and hardware of the joint test, but also to achieve the main function of the system.Through the display and analysis of the experimental results, the completion of electronic endoscope video processing system based on FPGA design, realize the stable function of the electronic endoscope and four way monitoring, and the auxiliary function enrichment and system integration, in the industrial endoscope field has broad application prospects.
