Electronic endoscope can directly observe the tissue morphology and lesions of human internal organs,it is a key device in modern medical instruments which can effectively assist doctors in medical diagnosis.With the advancement of technology,the demand for electronic endoscope in terms of image resolution,display real-time and intelligent image processing is increasing.The image processing system is an important part of the electronic endoscope,it can realize various processes of the endoscope image,and its performance index is closely related to the imaging effect of the electronic endoscope.Therefore,this thesis researches and develops a HD endoscope image processing hardware system based on Tegra X1.The system takes embedded GPU Tegra X1 as the core,performs image encoding/decoding and customized image intelligent analysis processing,and realizes local storage and network transmission functions.It uses Artix-7 FPGA to extend 3G-SDI interfaces for receiving and sending 1080p60 HD endoscope image data,perform pre-processing on these image data,and realize the real-time output display function of image data.It also realizes high-bandwidth transmission of image data between FPGA and Tegra X1 through PCI-E bus.In addition,the system extends the dedicated interface circuit with Cyclone V as the core,which is used for information interaction with the endoscope control center.The Tegra X1-based HD endoscope image processing hardware system has completed prototype development.Through testing,each functional module of the system works normally and meets the design requirements.
