Traction system is the core part of metro vehicles, train traction ability is related to the operational reliability and transport capacity of the train. In order to improve the subway vehicle travel speed in order to improve the transport capacity and demand traction of metro vehicles with high acceleration and braking deceleration.At present domestic to the speed under 100 km/h level of traction system has mature experience in design and application experience, but the 120 km/h speed rating of the traction system in the domestic blank, and at present due to urban sprawl of 120 km/h speed grades of metro trains have begun to use, so in order to meet the domestic level of 120 km/h speed traction system requirements, to 120 km/h speed rating of the traction system research is imperative.This thesis mainly to 120 km/h domestic metro vehicle traction system technology and with the vehicle matching are studied, the main domestic traction system component selection research, domestic traction system technology research, the empty vehicle electric joint braking control technology research, etc.The results show that the localization of traction system, the traction and electric braking capacity can completely meet the requirements of 120 km/h metro vehicle, train braking force by the train control system was adopted to realize management and distribution, vehicle control unit is responsible for the whole train braking control, and is responsible for the whole train electric braking force distribution, air brake system of microcomputer control unit is responsible for the air brake the braking force distribution of composite braking way, composite brake control process is the most concise, the most timely response and is one of the more advanced composite braking control mode, completely can apply to 120 km/h the demand of the metro vehicle, using this method has obvious advantages, make full train brake shoe frictional loss. In train parking stage, realized the electric braking force and air brake both coordination and parking can satisfy the precision requirement.This study also showed that the smaller the bows head quality, high head suspension stiffness and bow the head suspension damping of airbag type pantograph, increase the natural frequency of the pantograph can effectively avoid the natural frequency of the cable, for high speed metro pantograph in rigid contact off-line not arc provides a solution, and puts forward some Suggestions of rigid catenary span value, this research is worth popularizing in China.This topic through the adoption of the principle of combining theory research and design practice, theoretical research is mainly through the study of the simulation, the simulation calculation of traction system, to determine in theory can meet the design requirements of 120 km/h vehicles; Design practice is mainly from guangzhou line 3, the mature design experience, localization of 120 km/h traction system test and a train, and through a series of components and the vehicle type test, shows that the design of the traction control system can fully meet the actual demand of the vehicle.
