Energy and environmental issues is today’s two major subject in the world,energy crisis and environmental pollution has in the world caused widespread concern, under the double pressure of high prices and low carbon economy, new energy vehicles especially electric vehicles are being more and more attention. As emerging industry upstart electric car has already been countries placed on the important agenda, and the charging technology research has become the competition focus.The lead-acid battery with its mature technology, wide temperature range, the output of good performance, low price, recyclable advantages in the domestic electric vehicle batteries still occupy most of the market share of. But the lead-acid battery maximum acceptable charging current and long charging time limitations, the development of electric vehicles is restricted. So, has very important practical significance to design a lead-acid battery charger to the polarization of fast charging.This paper according to the lead-acid battery charge and discharge characteristics designed a negatively pulsed discharge and fast charging lead-acid battery charger,the system which continued the traditional constant current, constant voltage and float three stage charging ways, at the same time in constant current stage increased a negative pulse discharge circuit, to avoid the high current charging the battery polarization resulting. This design using high-frequency switching power supply technology and PWM control principle, using high power density of the full bridge topology structure, modularized product function as a starting point to complete the design of a 2KW/60V/30 A portable charger of electric vehicle, in the completion of the basic pulse charging function based on, also increased the charger of the flow,temperature and anti reverse connection protection function.Finally, the performanceof prototype test and the experimental results and waveform analysis, achieved the expected goals.
