As problems, such as environmental pollution and energy shortage, are more and more serious, the development of electric automobile of low carbon environmental protection has become the trend. National governments in different countries have reached a consensus that investing huge funds and manpower to actively promote the popularization and application of electric automobile. Power battery is the key technology of electric automobile, determines its range and cost. Now the technology of lead battery are more mature, therefore, the current electric automobile use lead-acid batteries as its power battery.And lithium batteries which have more and better comprehensive properties are actively in research.At present, electric automobile puts storage battery as the power source. The feature of lead storage battery charging for a long time becomes the bottleneck that restricting the electric automobile industry rapid development. Therefore, the technology of quick charging for lead storage battery is one of the key technologies for electric automobile research and development. This thesis mainly does a research on quick charging system for lead storage battery used in electric automobile.The author establishes the dynamic model of lead battery, and analyzes the parameters of lead battery’s state of charge. Based on energy library set by super capacitor,he establishes a quick charging system for lead storage battery. In this system, the author adopts the intermediate energy library to build buffered type battery direct-current power supply, so as to provide a large charging current for storage battery in early time.Meanwhile, the author uses slow accumulation charging to supplement energy libraries, to reduce the demand for power supply system, to improve the system reliability, to eliminate the impact on the grid, and to realize electricity trough to save power.The author proposes control method of lead storage battery using a large current spike pulse charging. According to the battery porous electrode theory model, he uses one-way flow pulse charging control algorithm to eliminate or reduce the battery polarization, and uses the critical analysis of air control algorithm to shorten the charging time most in early stage in the charging process of large current peak controlling pulse to achieve overall super quick charge and improve the battery life. The theoretical method is not only suitable for lead-acid batteries, also can be transplanted to use other power supplynew energy electric automobile.By using Matlab or Simulink toolkit, the author builds lead storage battery quick charging simulation model to verify the correctness and feasibility of fast charging method.
