China’s logistics industry has been driven by the rapid development of economic and social development. Low cost and high efficiency of transportation has become an important symbol to measure the development level of the industry. So how to achieve this goal has been a topic in the industry. This paper research on hanging double fulcrum operating side of the towed ship compartment unloading semitrailer, is just for meeting the requirements and the development of the above mentioned market.This research belongs to the new model of the special vehicle industry, and this model has not been marketization at present. The vehicle belongs to the side dump type, the class of side unloading vehicle. The traditional side dump truck can only be discharged on the right side of the vehicle. This vehicle has been optimized and improved for realizing the left-unloading function, and meet the customer’s requirements better. The semitrailer researched on this paper was composed of front sections, rear sections, and the power of the vehicle comes from the traction power of the chassis. The traction drives the trailer, and the tractor drives the trailer to realize the vehicle’s running.The method of the research is to combined theory with practice closely, to make it practicable based on the guidance of relevant theory, and at the same time, the practice will verify the theory. Firstly, the structure parameters of the researched truck were determined and then the components of the research models were determined too. Next, use three-dimensional modeling software to simulate the modeling. Use the virtual environment of the software to assemble the vehicle parts to avoid interference in practical assembly. At the same time, based on the three-dimensional modeling, the finite element analysis software was used to simulate the motion of the truck, and then the stress and strain contours of the corresponding design components are analyzed. According to the results of the analysis, the optimization design is carried out, which effectively improves the anti-torsion performance of the vehicle, and avoids the vehicle frame rupture occurred during high speed transportation.The new type of high strength material has been used in the structural design of the semitrailer to make its structure simple, and the reinforcement structure of the welding vertical beam is canceled to meet the characteristics of the light weight.In order to reduce the impact of its own gravity on the frame during the truck drops, a one-way throttling buffer device was attached to the vehicle compartment. It can effectively increase the buffer of the truck, reduce the noise, and improve the service life of the vehicle; In virtual simulation, according to the principle of side- unload of dump truck, the geometrical relationship between the lateral angle of pavement and the lift angle in the side of the carriage is analyzed, and the critical condition for the study of the instability of the vehicle is established.Finally, the prototype of the vehicle was manufactured, and analyzed for the performance of the truck. The reliability of theoretical analysis and simulation were verified. And it provides the reliable data to optimize the design of the truck.The simulation analysis and experimental verification of the model not only meets the reliability design of the vehicle, but also provides a scientific and correct concept for the design of this kind of vehicle.
