Reservoir as an important part of China’s flood control system and water infrastructure over the years played a significant role in flood control, irrigation, water supply, power generation, improve the ecological environment, etc.The main function of small reservoirs is flood control and Hennessy regulation. At this stage the main problem faced by small reservoirs is due to siltation problems or design criteria was inadequate, leading to Hennessy capacity decrease or disappear, so that the function of the reservoir can not be achieved Hennessy, affect the effectiveness of the play. In this paper, according to the Sink Characters and characteristics of the flood flow hydrograph are classified the small reservoirs.
