With the highly development of material life nowadays, cars gradually evolved into every household necessity. However, as the traditional fossil energy are facing the threat of resource exhaustion, then electric vehicles, represent as new energy vehicles is then proposed and become the new future developing trend. But due to the disadvantage of short driving range, the developments of electric vehicles are also constrained. Among this, aluminum air power battery with some characteristics of high specific energy and replacing fuel conveniently can help to extend the driving range. However, the limitation of low power and non-rechargeable of aluminum air power battery in turn will cause a great impact on the power and energy recovery performance. Based on early research and analysis, this paper focus on the aluminum air power battery and super-capacitor drive power system are summarized as follows:Firstly, the basic properties of aluminum air power battery and super capacitor are studied. Compared with aluminum air power battery with the typical power battery in specific energy and specific power, we analyzed the characteristics of the charge and discharge, the capacity and the resistance of aluminum air power battery and super capacitor according to the experimental data. On the basis of this, the matching structures of dual power supply are analyzed and selected in this paper. Then power supply main circuit is designed according to the selected structure and actual operating circuit structures are analyzed. At last, the selection of aluminum air power battery and super capacitor is determined according to the motor parameters, and then the matching quantities among them are calculated.Secondly, based on the power supply characteristics, the power models of aluminum air power battery and super capacitor are built. By comparing the simulation results with the experimental results, we verified the aluminum air battery and super capacitor models, which shows the correctness of modeling. Then on the basic of the above researches, the dual drive power supply model is established.Finally, the energy allocation strategy of dual drive power supply system is studied. After the analysis of logic threshold and fuzzy logic control strategy respectively and aimed at these two different strategies, we evaluate the power supply performance in actual working conditions and compare the advantages and disadvantages of the control strategies through the simulation results. The results show that under fuzzy logic control strategy, the energy distribution of drive power supply system is more reasonably, thus can ensure the vehicle power performance and reduce the heavy current strike to the aluminum air power battery.
