In recent years, rail vehicle has a growing influence for people’s daily life with the rapid development of Chinese Economics. As an important means of transportation in cities, high-speed train is requested to improve it’s speed and riding comfort level by people. Under the increasing running speed of rail vehicle, the vibration of carbody is becoming more and more serious. At the same time, some equipments under the car which have excitation sources can transmit the energy of self-excited vibration to carbody through connections, especially the traction transformer. They intensify the elastic vibration of carbody, and reduce the riding comfort and running stability level. For this, the article, taking different speed level and traction transformer working state into account, uses the co-simulation method of multi-body dynamics software Simpack and finite element analysis software Ansys to emulate the vibration system of carbody-traction transformer.In this paper, the major research work are as follows:(1) Taking the track irregularities into account, a dynamical simulation model of the high-speed train is carried out based on the multi-body dynamics theory. The load of four air springs under different running speed grades is solved respectively. Through the origin software, they are converted into the amplitude-frequency load. Then, this article studies and analyses the change of amplitude-frequency load characteristics under different speed grades.(2) The eccentric rotating of cooling fan of traction transformer is equivalent to the eccentric rotating disk. According to the method of finite element, the outer incentive of eccentric rotating impeller is obtained under a week of rotating impeller. Then the numerical results is analyzed.(3) The finite element model of the car body-traction transformer system is carried out by the finite element software Ansys. According to the load of car body under different speed level and the load of traction transformer which is generated by self-excited vibration, the harmonic response analysis is carried out on the system of carbody-traction transformer. Then, the vibration acceleration of carbody is obtained. This article studies the relationship between the vibration response of carbody and running speed grades, and summarizes the features of the carbody vibration response.
