After the high-speed rail operation for the Passenger train bypass, the transport capacity of the existing line has been released, so the transport organization optimization is facing challenge and development. How to plan the train type, the proportion of passenger flow, the opening line density, the application of the channel capacity, is a complex transport organization optimization. So, combined with Chinese economic development and the background of railway freight transport reform, we discussed the impact of high-speed railway to the existing lines, designed reasonable freight products, optimized passenger and freight trains transportation organization, so that to enhance the rail transport service quality and to meet the transport needs of society.This paper mainly includes the following aspects:(1)Firstly we deep analyzed the transportation organization impact of high-speed rail to the existing line, described the suitability of using overall capacity of the channel for high-speed railway running offline, high-speed railway independent operation, passenger and freight sub-line operation. Combined with Chinese actual situation of railway operation, it is reasonable to select the sub-line passenger and freight operation, with the existing lines mainly transporting goods and a small amount of passenger transportation after the forming of high-speed rail network.(2)Based on the analysis of graph structure effect of high-speed rail operations to the existing line, we investigated the calculation method of existing line transport capacity release value, including direct and indirect analysis calculation method, then we systematically analyzed the forming of comprehensive transportation capacity of existing line, fully considered the limiting factor, and came up with improvement measures.(3) In China, according to railway transport demand and the characteristics of transport organization, the technical analysis of multiple transportation products operated in existing railway after the release of transportation capacity is conducted, and a model to solve the combinatorial optimization of existing railway transportation product is built. Secondly, in-depth analysis of the operation condition of fast goods train, heavy haul train, high-density freight train, the influence of the line and operation modes, and opinions on the organization of these goods transportation products at present are proposed.(4) In full consideration of the trunk passenger and freight train periodical characteristics, the reasonable ratio of train, traffic density and the distance between stations is determined. Through quantitative calculation, this paper determines existing passenger train, fast freight train and heavy haul train ratio range after the release of transportation capacity. Second, through the analysis and comparison of the influence between several different passenger and freight train interval, it is concluded that with increase of the density of the opening line, the capacity of the line continues to increase, until it reaches saturation. Once more, it calculates the optimum station spacing based in the case of simple overtaking and discusses the related strategies to reduce the impact of large interval on the through capacity.
