To precisely and efficiently evaluate of seismic performance of rare event under the action of earthquake and to find the weak parts of the structure,The application study of the numerical simulation platform ABAQUS is developed to study the stress damage of the super high rise building under earthquake. This paper starts from the overall model and studies how to use the ABAQUS software to carry on the numerical simulation shaking table test of the structure.On the basis of theoretical research, combined with a complex of the super high-rise projects in Hefei City, this paper uses the finite element analysis software ABAQUS,carries out structural dynamic elastic-plastic time history analysis of the structure of a complex super high rise building in Hefei and the stress damage of each floor and the whole frame under rare earthquake.And the calculation results are analyzed and compared.It is proved that the structural system of the project and the arrangement of structural members are basically reasonable.Damage analysis results show that the floor has a concave, irregular plane with the conversion of high-rise shear wall structure, and the earthquake horizontal force is mainly transmitted through the wall itself. The effect of floor slab on the horizontal seismic force is not large, floor appear more serious damage was mainly due to its own excessive deformation.For this kind of overrun building structure, the key part of the structure has taken the targeted seismic strengthening measures through reasonable arrangement of the wall position,so as to bear larger earthquake and stand still.This paper also points out that it is feasible to use the numerical simulation for seismic design.Under rare earthquake, elastic plastic time history analysis is a reliable and effective method, which can ensure the high rise building structure to achieve the goal of seismic fortification.In addition to conventional structural response,ABAQUS finite element software can also analyse seismic load,provide real time information on the distribution of earthquake damage and the evolution of structure damage,accurately presente the weak parts of the building structure and the steps of plastic phase under the earthquake action, which provides useful information for structural optimization and is of great significance.It is proved that the large-scale general finite element analysis software plays a very important role in the design of modern high-rise building structure, which provides a basis for guiding the seismic design method.
