Coal mine canteen building that is a kind of important construction in coal mine, has a more and more important influence on whole building environment, cultural atmosphere, workers living relations. On the other hand, at present, the system research of the dining hall building in coal mining area is not particularly full. There are no relatively complete, up-to-date, and targeted specifications for the design of the canteen in the coal mining area. And there are tea restaurants, specialty restaurants, ethnic restaurants and other places, which are responsible for external reception. The author has done researches on cafeteria building in the coal mining area combining with the existing research results about catering buildings and industrial buildings, and analyzed characteristics and existing problems. On the other hand, the author has done researches on the actual demand of coal mine workers combining with the relevant theoretical research results of safety psychology, and analyzed the psychological characteristics and psychological needs of them. And then, the author will try to combine the research results and theoretical research to summaries the design principles of the canteen building in coal mine to make an attempt to study the design of the cafeteria building in the coal mining area in ChinaThis research has strong practical significance and universal applicability, it can guide the coal mine canteen building and update construction work. So as to better play the role of the construction of the canteen in the coal mining area, it also has certain reference value to meet the needs of modern coal mine workers.
