Electrical energy is one of the most important energy,it is related to the national economic development and people’s daily life. power transmission and transformation project has very important significance to ensure clean electricity transmission and stable power supply. And geological environment evaluation for power transmission and transformation engineering can give a overall understanding to geological environmental quality and regional planning, and very important to the strategic deployment..This paper relies on the science project "key technology research Transmission project under complex geological environment" of the State Grid Corporation, established the evaluation system for power transmission engineering geological environment, and applied it to engineering practice to verify the rationality of the evaluation system.The main research contents and results of this paper are as follows:(1)According to results of the relevant research did by the State Grid Corporation,which is on geological environmental factors causing damage of substation and transmission line engineering survey, analysis of the geological environmental factors that affect the power transmission project construction an d operation safety.(2) Constructed the geological environment evaluation index system containing 5 first-class evaluation indexes and 11 two-grade evaluation indexes.Each index is quantified and classified, and the weight of each index is det ermined by using analytic hierarchy process(AHP).(3) Using the comprehensive evaluation model to calculate the evaluation score of the geological environment evaluation, the score will be divided into five sections, the results of the geological environment is divided into five grades as very high, high, medium, low, very low.(4) The system constructed in this paper is applied to the actual enginee ring, taking a 110 kV transmission line project and a 750 kV substation project as examples, to verify the rationality of the evaluation system. The geological environment complexity of the proposed site of No.43 tower in the 110 kV transmission line engineering is low, suitable for engineering construction, consistent with the actual construction and construction-related recommendations ar e given. It is concluded that the complex degree of the geological environment of the proposed site of the 750 kV substation is low, which is suitable for construction site, and is consistent with the actual construction. Construction related recommendations are given.
