The low voltage distribution network planning in the rural areas is a key part of the State Grid Corporation of a rural power network upgrading project, and how effective assessment is to ensure that an important prerequisite for the effectiveness of the current rural power network upgrading of rural low-voltage distribution network planning. Do a good job on the effective assessment of the current low voltage distribution network planning in rural areas, on the basis of the widely visited and field surveys, combined with the status of domestic research and development for the status quo of low voltage distribution network in the rural areas are relatively complex and the lack of systematic quantitative assessment and planning prospective studies only qualitative but not quantitative characteristics of the rural low voltage distribution grid launched an in-depth analysis of the Analytic Hierarchy Process theory to construct the evaluation index system of low voltage distribution network in rural areas, with relatively universal significance rural low-voltage distribution network individual mathematical model to calculate and analyze actual case, the rural low voltage distribution network of the status quo and transform planning necessity to carry out further quantitative evaluation, supplemented by traditional planning based on proposed of improvements. In this paper, the calculation and analysis of relevant examples, give full play to the role of the analytic hierarchy process as a comprehensive judgment based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, and expertise combined with a strong professional foundation to determine the hierarchy intostructure, and further reduce the error in judgment caused by the traditional methods which consider qualitative factors, to avoid the absolute tendency to appear in the quantitative process.Through the use of the analytic hierarchy process, that the method can eliminate planning a comprehensive assessment of low-voltage distribution network in the rural areas can not be quantitative and qualitative defects, more compatible with the more complex system problems and the relationship between levels of analysis, is arelative to meet practical and easy to operate in the rural low voltage distribution network planning and assessment methods.
