Therefore better rural construction of the village is an important part of spiritual civilization. Improve rural living environment is an important task of China’s new rural reconstruction and development.This article puts forword of pertinence and feasibility some improvement suggestions and strategies in the rural living environment construction short-term and long-term stage for Songming county of Kunming and even Yunnan province, through questionnaire and field investigation on the rural living environment in the new rural construction and summary of the current situation of rural living environment and analysis comparison for Songming county of Kunming in present. The main contents are as follows:analysis of the results of theoretical study of rural living environment, rural living environment survey and field investigation for Songming, the main problems existing in the development of rural living environment and the reason analysis in current for Songming, the domestic and foreign rural living environment construction practice case inspiration, proposed improvement in the near suggestions and long-term strategies to improve. Focus on solving that need to be solved in current rural living environment construction fire protection, waste disposal, sewage treatment, improve road, economic income major livelihood issues and to create "a shift, two security, three perfect, four themes" ideas of the livable rural beautiful environment.
