Study On The Application Of Building Information Modeling In Highway Project Management

In recent years, the rapid development of the highway construction industry, the market competition intensifies, put forward higher requirements to the highway project management. Limitations of large and inefficient traditional project management mode is difficult to solve highway project management of complex objects, difficulty of coordination, control dynamic problem, also cannot adapt to the current project management requirements and level. Information technology in the effective application of the continuous development of society and the industry, suggesting that highway construction industry construction need to catch the express train on the information and urgent to introduce new management theory and technology to create a perfect information system or platform, to solve the problem and meet the project life cycle management, achieves the full range control of highway construction project.Firstly, according to the problems existing in the highway construction industry, through the analysis of the characteristics of BIM, which is a new concept, new technology, combined with the new needs and objectives for the highway project, from this three aspects as the breakthrough point, the author aimed at how to solve the above problem, leads to the key points of the study of this thesis. Secondly, BIM in expressway project management applied research. Secondly, to the understanding of how BIM as the core, introduces the BIM concept, connotation and great value advantage, to explore the application value of BIM in each phase of the project life cycle, BIM in the application of life cycle management of highway project laid a theoretical foundation for the following implementation. Thirdly, the system analysis of the construction of the basic contents and characteristics of the highway project, and points out the problems existing in the whole life cycle management of highway project, in view of the above problems describes the expressway project management reform is imperative, proposed the use of BIM new tube model to solve the problems in highway project management of new ideas. Fourthly, explain the potential value of BIM in highway project management, elaborated in the life cycle management of highway project how to use BIM new management methods, and pointed out the BIM into the new management mode in the expressway project management application difficulties. Finally, through the case analysis, BIM new management model is applied to Yue Yi Yichang Highway project management, research and practice show that the BIM is applied to expressway project management not only to ensure the quality of the project, to speed up the construction progress, save the cost, but also improve the efficiency and quality of the project management, and achieved good application efficiency.Through the study of this paper proved BIM new management concepts and techniques used in the highway project management is feasible and enrich the BIM in transport infrastructure facilities in the application of theory, but also for the future of BIM in the highway construction industry further in-depth study provides reference.
