In recent years, China’s highway has developed rapidly that the total mileage has exceeded 110 thousand km. Moreover, the new and renovated highway mileage is expected to reach 30 thousand kilometers in 13th Five-Year Plan.There will be more and more specialty tunnels in the construction of the highway. As an important part of expressway tunnel project,the completion and delivery of mechanical and electrical engineering is essential for the whole tunnel and the entire road opening to traffic.Researches on expressway tunnel mechanical and electrical project management are insufficient at present in our country, especially the researchof schedule management.Thethesis enjoys a deep realistic meaning and application value for project managementcovering expressway’s tunnel mechanical and electrical engineering construction.By case study and theoretical analyzing, the thesis firstly studies the contents and methods of project management and progress management with the character of express way’s tunnel mechanical and electrical engineeringfield. After the first part, the thesis systemically analyzes the problems and quantized the settlement in building and construction progress in expressway’s tunnel mechanical and electrical engineering construction and offers advices for the key problems. The thesis also gives a practical application analyze combining with the specific case of ChangShan-tunnel of LeZi-expressway construction project.Project management theory and progress control method is used in the thesis to solve the problems in progress control of the project; Gantt chartis used for work breakdown structure(WBS); Network planning graph method is usedto find and determine the critical path; Forced compression method and adjustment method are usedto improve the schedule control; Various measures are taken to ensure the rational allocation of resources to achieve the desired objectives; Milestone event methodis used to verify the effectiveness of schedule management and issues of the relevant quality management and communication management.
