The feature of construction project is strong comprehensive and huge investment.It’s construction period is long,too.There are all kinds of uncertainty in the process of construction. The intrinsic characteristics of the construction project and the existence of many uncertain factors, led to the necessity and inevitability of the engineering change. Engineering change is the main reasons that can’t meet the target, is the main "source" of cost overrun.It is necessary to manage engineering change for controlling cost.Managing engineering change emphasizes the beforehand control,nip in the bud. It is an effective way to control costs. However, there are too many,we cannot manage all factors well.It is necessary to find the major factor of engineering change. We can manage a spot of major factors to achieve the goal of control engineering change to the cost impact.So the paper want to analyze the association degree of trigger factors of engineering change and final account at completion, finding the key factors. The paper want to analyze how these factors affect the completion settlement price, and put forward suggestions on the management of these factors and countermeasures.Engineering change management has important significance to the cost control, we have to control the key factors. The significance in the paper is to find out key trigger factors of engineering change, nip in the bud, indicate the key management direction for engineering change management.
