Research On The Transformation Design Of Container Houses Based On Green Concept

This paper originated from the innovation and entrepreneurship training program of college students in Jiangsu province. With green environmental protection building blocks as the main line, the project has constructed a residential unit of a container housing. Under the background of green building and sustainable development, the container is transformed into an outlet for the unused container, which provides other thoughts for the assembled green building. The container residence has the same character of the housing system, such as the demand of space function, environmental comfort and energy consumption. Container housing also has its particularity, the advantages such as less waste of construction, low-cost building, convenient transportation and residential construction, but also disadvantages such as limitations of space size, and thermal insulation performance. Container housing as a new type of building system, should be considered from the development of green building theory. The development positioning and market value of residential container housing should be examined. Also we should study the container architecture of modular design, optimize the technological transformation of container housing, and build the container residential green construction and industrialization of the system. Providing a theoretical basis for the green prefabricated residential construction is necessary and meaningful.This paper’s theoretical research is based on the green concept. As the main line of the entire design construction of the container housing, it studies residential renovation in the container space design, combination design, envelope transformation strategy, construction and assembly strategy and indoor comfort degree test. It also concludes the principles that container housing reform should follow at each stage, and put forward the corresponding reform strategy. According to the investigation and analysis of the practical cases of domestic and international container housing cases, the author has done the in-depth research for container building enterprises, summed up the techniques and methods in the container housing design forms and transformation. The author has evaluated green container housing practical case, including analyzing energy-saving effects of green technology samples, and from the two perspectives of light and heat, the author has done the experimental measurements on the case of insulation under the condition of indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity and illumination environment. The transformation method is evaluated, and the optimization scheme is put forward in the paper.
