Traditional architecture is the product of local environment, resources and economic and social conditions. By thousands years’ inheritance and development, it is not only the material with practical value of housing function, but also the symbol of ethnic culture and spiritual carrier. The traditional architectures of different nations present distinct regional and national characters under the influence of cultural life, ideology and faith, which is called ethnic identifiability.Under the background of a widely prevailing view on village rebuilding, the phenomenon of monotonous village architectures springs up continuously. To deal with such a condition, people restart to pay attention to the research of traditional architectures and explore how to maintain the ethnic identifiabilities in the process of village rebuilding. With an eye to village rebuilding, this article pays attention to the expression of ethnic identifiability from minority traditional architectures. Taking the Hani nationality in Jianshi County as example, it makes research on the space requirements, formal language and material construction, and discusses the presentation of ethnic identifiability in traditional architectures. At last, it discriminates the ethnic identifiabilities suitable to local architectures combined with Hani residents at Huangcaba of Jianshui County.Positioning "traditional village tourism demonstration site" and taking the living requirements and the professional view of builders as start points, the article classifies and designs two sections including public architectures and the residential buildings in different regions and terrains according to actual condition. As to the discriminated ethnic identifiabilities, it analyzes, summarizes and screens about them, as well as inheritance and even updating utilizing, to provide suitable modes for village rebuilding of the Hani nationality.
