| Building envelopes attracted enough attention as building structure did since the date of birth. However, with the development of modern architecture, the building envelopes became a vassal of the building structure under the slogan of "decoration is evil".With the development of interdisciplinary scientific and technological, a large number of new scientific theories such as complexity theory came into the academia of architecture. These new theories such as bionics gave a new significance to building envelopes.The differences between building envelopes and building structures is less and less obvious.Building envelopes could transform into building structures through the folding,and building structures could also transform into building envelopes through the twisting.In recent years, development of computer simulation technology brings more vigor to building envelopes.Building envelopes design is no longer stay on paper in the theoretical stage.A variety of building envelopes was designed to solve problems . However, the existing epidermis parametric design is very symbolic design, lacking the reflections on building needs.How to combine parametric design and the environmental issues is the problem which this dissertation discuss.Through the computer simulation model of the building epidermis and case studys, we can describe the architectural design process in Grasshopper platform.Then explain the theory of parametric architectural aesthetics of Deleuze on Floding,Weaving and Smoothing.Finally, we can materialize the parametric design logic data by the architectural aesthetics.In this dissertation we take Chenggong Yuhua Kindergarten affordable housing community designed for case binding thesis research to explain how parametric logic works. |
