Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor is mainly used in variable speed drive and servo control. It has drawn increasing attention because of a series of advantages such as simple structure, high efficiency, wide speed range, light weight and high power density. Direct torque control is a new type of high-performance AC driving system after vector control technique. Direct torque control is gaining more and more applications in the AC motor control principle with its advantages such as simple structure, fast torque response and easy to realize the digital control. As the technology of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) develop, the complex control algorithm could be realized with FPGA-based single chip, which is of advantages of flexibility, reconfiguration, high speed and high reliability. After FGPA chip proven, in the form of software to realize the hardware circuit, to avoid the risk of silicon chip, achieved the combination of software requirements and hardware design. So the research of use FPGA to realize high performance Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor control, will have important theoretical meaning and economic significance, and widely used in the field of economy, military and other.Permanent magnet synchronous motor mathematical model, permanent magnet synchronous motor direct torque control theory, and take this as the foundation, fuzzy RBF neural network module is added, fuzzy RBF neural network of permanent magnet synchronous motor DTC smulink simulation model was established, and compared with the conventional direct torque control system, improves the control system dynamic and static performance in a certain extent, improve the stator flux, rotor speed and electromagnetic torque of are introduced in this paper.Secondly, the performance of SVPWM algorithm, and the applied to direct torque control system are deduced, and the fuzzy PI controller to replace the SVPWM direct torque control system of speed PI regulator and the establishment of improved SVPWM direct torque control system, and the simulation results are analyzed in detail. The results show that the rotor speed and electromagnetic torque are superior to the traditional DTC and Fuzzy RBF neural network DTC. Can be programmable gate array (FPGA) chip, the use of hardware description language and EDA idea of modularization design is realized based on SVPWM direct torque control of permanent magnet synchronous motor drive control system, and gives the vector transformation module, stator flux and angular position module, torque module, digital fuzzy PI control and speed test module, hardware filtering module and SVPWM algorithm module concrete realization method on a single field. Optimize the design of each module on the basis of meeting the design requirements, in order to reduce the chip resources. Adopt the design idea from top to bottom, according to the function module to carry on the design to the system, enhance the system’s portability, shorten the development cycle.Functional simulation and timing analysis is completed on the platform of Quartus II and Modelsim. The results of simulation and hardware verification show that the scheme is reliable and perfect on function. The experiment results to indicate that the control system can achieve good stability and dynamic response and the scheme is feasible.
