Automation reconstruction technology as a synthetical technology composed of machinery, electronics, computer and information technology many disciplines has the advantages of low cost, high efficiency and does not require significant changes in the original production technology. The thesis researches the automation of the cab turnover mechanism assembly line, the main aim of the research is to realize the assembly line’s automation, and emphases studied the realization of the automatic logoff system of the workpiece. The thesis research is the lateral research that co-chair by the digital design and manufacture key laboratory of Hefei University of Technology Anhui Ankai Huaxia Automobile Fittings Manufacture Co.,LTD, the describe and design motioned in the paper are all based on the practice on the project.An automatic assemble system was designed based on the practical enterprise production condition and the development of the automatic production lines in the world and highlighted the realization of the automatic logoff system of the workpiece, because the workpiece’s logoff is the most biggest constraint that cause it is difficult to improve production efficiency. Firstly, Petri Nets and Flexsim simulation software were used to establish simulation model that was used to analyze the assembly line, to conclude the mutual restriction relation of each working procedure and obtain the efficiency constraint of the assemble system.Then the automatic logoff system of the workpiece was designed with the idea of open CNC on the development platform of Lab VIEW according to simulation results. Two mechanical structure design plans were proposed as alternatives and their 3D models was established detailly on the SolidWorks before implementation of the system to ensure the success of the project. The control circuit of the system was designed on the Altium Designer Summer09 after the design of mechanical structure, control program was completed on the Lab VIEW which is easy learn and write with graphical language and the PCI 1010 motion control card was chose as the data acquisition card. In the paper, the idea, origin and realization methods of each function in the system was described detailly.The main work was realize other work procedures with the help of industrial robotic arm after the realization of the automatic logoff system according to the requirements of automatic assemble.
