Construction site environment is very complex, often multiple crane construction at the same time, when the crane driver work of concentration, long continuous working time, easy fatigue, or even an accident. The research and design of tower crane safety monitoring and control system (also known as the black box of the tower crane) can well prevent causing a major accident, which has a wide application prospect and practical significance.The main work and achievements are as follows.(1) According to the functional requirements of the tower crane safety monitoring and control system, uCos-III real-time operating system, ucGUI graphical support system and an file system transplanted to the tower crane safety monitoring and control system, construction of the tower crane safety monitoring and control system of the software architecture. And focus on the work mode of system and administrator mode, the design of the various functions for each mode.(2) Of the tower crane safety monitor and remote management system of communication and field dynamic network communication. Using GPRS network for remote communication, designs the communication protocol of tower crane safety monitoring and control system and the remote management system, standardize the format of each instruction, to realize the stable and reliable data transmission. Field self dynamic networking communication simulation results show:at about 3 tower also work, static network transmission completed a round of data need to 420ms and in a dynamic network only need 130ms, only equivalent to 31% of the static network, greatly enhance the fast response characteristics of the system.(3) design laboratory model of tower crane safety monitoring and control system, test the tower crane safety monitor sensor data accuracy, precision and the crane anti collision function. The test results show that the system achieves the desired function well, and achieves the expected goal in precision and speed. Finally introduces the installation method of tower crane, completed the design of tower crane safety monitor key sensor installation position. The research results have been successfully applied in the development of XXX products.
