Hydraulic excavator is a kind of engineering machinery for high power, high sensitive working, widely used in industrial and civil construction, transportation, water conservancy, power engineering and other industries. It is a barometer of engineering machinery industry and called the crown jewel of engineering machinery. Play an important role in economical construction. However, excavator uses up a geat deal of energy, its energy utilization rate is only about 20%, most of which is power does not match. So design a suitable power matching electronic control system to improve the energy utilization is of great significance.This paper first expounds the excavators in power match at home and abroad and the current status of electronic control system structure, according to this topic of hydraulic excavator functional requirements and combined with other engineering machinery products demands designed a multi-function, great security of general engineering machinery electronic controller.On the software implementation, transplants the embedded real-time system μC/OS-Ⅱ into infineon TC1784 micro controller, designs the division of the software structure.On the function implementation of the program, firstly analyzes the characteristics of the LSC hydraulic system, adopted the control strategy of speed induction which limits on the range of engine speed. Realizes the automatic idle speed of engine, part of the system troubleshooting and other functions.Secondly when excavator is working, due to the constant change of the load, the engine and pump power match is not reasonable which will cause the energy loss. Combined with other members’ working of the research team that establishes the mechanical and electronic fluid model of Excavator based on AMESim and Matlab/Simulink, this paper establishes the electric control system model.Uses control algorithm that combines the traditional PID and the fuzzy adaptive PID to control the engine antistall system in this model.Besides, make sure the engine’s power output match in different mode and different working conditions, realizes the corresponding power matching function with different power demands respectively, make the diesel work in the best fuel economy interval, then get the best economic benefits.Finally, do the experiment using the designing electronic controller to research, introduces the experiment result using the power matching software algorithm. Test the excavator no-load characteristic motion and up-load continuous excavating, then send the experiment data to PC by CAN bus for data analysising. The control effect is similar compared with foreign controller.
