As the transportation industry development rapidly, the awareness of people to the road traffic safety has been on the increase, especially with the improvement of vehicles design level and the construction of high-grade highway and increased speed of vehicles, There has some data shows that the higher the vehicle speed is, the crosswind sensitivity stronger. Crosswind will change the vehicle’s stress state which leads to serious safety problems such as lateral spreads rollover. In the high-speed road traffic accident occurred in the vehicles, A large part of the reason is due to the influence of crosswinds on vehicle. Moreover, when the vehicle is traveling at a fixed speed, fixed crosswind strength, different road alignment with respect to vehicle safety implications are also different. In order to determine the high-speed vehicle’s safety velocity threshold under different road-alignment driving, firstly, analyzed The vehicle’s force model under the influence of crosswinds, and establish the Critical mathematical model of the vehicles under different road-alignment; Through the FLUENT to setting up different simulation condition to get the aerodynamic force and torque value by the vehicle suffered under the influence of different road-alignment, driving speed and crosswinds speed. and get the relationship between the fitting; The final step is to verify by selecting a particular model of car, come to each vehicle security conditions, verify drawn vehicle safe driving speed threshold under different line, different intensity crosswind effects. This implementation reduce crosswind accidents, improve traffic safety have a good reference value.
