Research On Wuxi Residential District Design At The Beginning Of China’s Reform And Opening

Since 1979, entered the new period of reform and opening-up, wuxi rapid economic development.As further improve the level of urbanization, the city’s residential construction have a qualitative leap compared with the planned economy period.This period of residential area has a strong, reflects the political, economic development and social fashion, and in the process of its evolution produced certain regularity.Wuxi at the beginning of reform and opening to the residential area are numerous, but due to the rapid development of urbanization process, and it’s easy to miss this period.This paper hope through to the wuxi residential area systematically combs at the early stage of the reform and opening up, perfect the wuxi city construction in the history of the development of this important component, also provide reference for later of wuxi city construction.In this paper, we study the time range, which began in 1979, ended in 1999, the welfare housing distribution, specific and can be divided into three stages of development.Residential area, the object of study for the city of wuxi in the documents, drawings information collection based on the analysis and in-depth field research, the general situation of the residential district of wuxi in the early reform and opening up.Using the typology, and resolution of comparative analysis and case study method is studied.In wuxi early stage of reform and opening to the society, economy, policy, people’s way of life, and summarizes the background of city development premise, from the characteristics of residential district planning, door model the design characteristics, monomer mix and public facilities and so on carries on the analysis, to explore the evolution of the residential district construction characteristics of this period and the causes behind it.The full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter the introduction part mainly discusses the related research were reviewed, clear the article research significance.The second chapter of the period the domestic political, social, economic and wuxi elaborates the background, and analyze the stage of development and preservation.The third chapter, the fourth chapter, chapter v for parallel chapters, according to the above division of historical periods respectively in each period of wuxi residential area design characteristics is analyzed, and from the political policy, people’s way of life, etc, to summarize the cause of residential area design of wuxi.
