Power grid planning is an important part of power system planning.220 kv and above power grid planning of regional power grid has important significance in the process of power system development, which helps to make comprehensive utilization of land resources and guarantee the regional demand as well as promote the region grid construction smoothly. Also the it can promote coordinated development of regional power grid and the external environment, further excavate the potential of power supply and improve the efficiency of the power grid and serve for the development of regional socail economy to ensure that the power grid construction is effective and scientific.Power grid planning needs to match the upper and lower power grid planning,as well as the local planning. Therefore, Taizhou grid planning in this paper is on the basis of research results,such as "12th Five-Year" power grid development rolling planning. According to technical requirements of guidelines such as "Zhejiang power grid planning and design technology principles". The research is a careful study which is market-demand oriented and takes safe and reliable power supply as the foundation as well as in accordance to the power grid planning and construction idea of "after development".In this paper, first of all, analyze the present situation of Taizhou power grid, then combined with the social and economic development planning and power grid planning, use diffrent methods to predict the power. Secondly, according to load forecasting result, make preliminary arrangement of projects from the perspective of power supply capacity.Thirdy, based on the first two conclusions, propose the target network frame and put forward suggestions and measures for capacity expansion and reform. Forthly, on the basis of existing power grid reactive power equipment and according to the demands of the load development, determine the reactive power planning goal and required increasing capacity for all stages.This method is mature, effective and has small computational complexity. The grid sheme according to the method is resonable and scientific,which has great reference value in engineering.
