Regional distribution network planning is an important work in the power system, and it is also one of the important part of the overall planning of regional construction. Regional power grid planning of urban development cooperation, make the grid development and regional econnimc development. The Puyang area 12 th Five-Year Plan power network planning is based on safety and reliability on the premise of comprehensive economic and social benefits, both to meet the practical needs but also to appropriate, in order to meet the needs of the development of Puyang city.This paper analyzes the Puyang area of the distribution network status; summarizes the main problems in the area; the disteibution network in the construction project, projectplanning,industrial area has different situation, electricity users, urban planning framework is discussed. Analysis of the report on the work of government counties in Puyang area and the statistical data, thepower consumption of electricity survey. According to the development plan of Puyang, the annual growth rate and the maximum power consumption forecasting of electricity consumption, the use of load density method, the average growth rate method, annual maximum load hours using the method to predict the long-term load, and puts forward the planning scheme of Puang region specific distribution network. And the high pressure electric power balance, substation layout and location, structure optimization, electrical parameter calculation, and the expansion project implem entation plan is analyzed in detail, and puts forward some effective methods to solve the problems of the regional power grid, and the input-output ratio is analyzed. Through this plan can enhance the grid structure of Puyang city power grid, improve the reliability and flexibility of power grid construction, the city of Puyang has a certain significance.
