As we all know, transmission is a critical part of the vehicle driving system. Double Clutch Transmission (DCT), as a new kind transmission, has been very hot in recent years. It keeps some traditional advantages which MT and AMT have. They are high transmission efficiency, simple structure, low cost and so on. At the same time, AT and AMT have to break power transmission when shift and DCT overcomes the shortcoming. That means it can bring more convenience and comfortable driving experience to numerous drivers. Therefore, DCT is hot researched and has become the new direction for vehicle automatic transmission.At present, few companies of USA and Germany keep DCT and its key technology in their hands firmly. Many other countries also spend lots of human and material resources on DCT and its measurement and control system. The study on DCT and its measurement and control system is still in its infancy in our country. Some companies and universities also begin to study DCT but most are only software simulation. There is a long distance from the real application and launching on the market. The automatic transmission of most companies in our country are deeply dependent on import, as a result, conducting the thorough research on DCT and its measurement and control system and developing a set of DCT measurement and control system with independent intellectual property rights are very meaningful. It is beneficial to break the foreign technology monopoly and improve the technical level of China’s automobile industry and enhance market competitiveness.We develop a set of DCT measurement and control system with independent intellectual property rights based on DCT360 which is provided by the company of Shanghai Volkswagen. This paper conducted the following research:Firstly, we collect relevant literature and information around the DCT widely and comprehend the research status at home and abroad. Then these information were systematically collated and summarized. On this basis, we study all kinds of indicators and parameters of DCT360. Then we program and propose the overall design scheme of the DCT control system and begin to conduct some research on relevant key technology and difficulties.Secondly, based on the results of the first step and combined with my previous research experience, I develop and design a set of upper computer system based on the LabVIEW and a set of lower computer system based on TLE8242-2G.Then we combine them with sensors and other components to form a complete measurement and control system. Among the whole system, the upper computer system ensures that all the test will be operated under the monitoring and complete data acquiring, hydraulic pressure controlling, test process controlling, parameter setting, sensor calibrating, data browsing, report generating and so on. It make the operation simple and convenient. The lower machine control system is the core part of this design and is the key to DCT. This design develop a set of wet dual-clutch Transmission solenoid valve controlling and data acquiring system. It is mainly for the real-time controlling and parameters feedback of the solenoid values in the Transmission including proportional solenoid value, digital solenoid value, switch solenoid value. At the same time, the parameters of the pressure sensor and displacement sensor in the Transmission are collected, too.Finally, we conduct a set of tests on DCT360 which is provided by Shanghai Volkswagen company on our system. The tests include 1) The environment simulation on DCT360 by using temperature control box; 2) The driving test on DCT360; 3) The shifting operation on DCT360. During the tests, we observe the controlling condition of the solenoid values and record all kinds of parameters and the acquisition of the corresponding sensors signal. Meanwhile, testing the clutch pressure in the process of shifting and drawing the data into a curve. The results is recognized by the researchers from the Volkswagen research center and it indicates that this DCT measurement and control system is able to acquire the relevant analog and digital parameters precisely and fast. It is also able to control the motor, solenoid valves and other parts exactly and accomplish the correct shift operation and other tests.
