| Idling emission of vehicle is a kind of pollution emission, brings a large number of harmful gases, affecting people’s health. The community is the basic unit of people’s social life, focus on a large number of residents and cars, the idling emission has more influence on the residents. Under the background of energy saving and emission reduction, the study of the influence of idling emission on the atmospheric environment of the community is full of great significance.First of all, this paper analyzes the impact of motor vehicles on the community environment and the impact of vehicle emission factors, focusing on the analysis of the characteristics of the driver’s driving behavior. According to the need of research, the idling is divide into situ idling and congestion idling, the harm of motor vehicle idling was analyzed qualitatively, summarizes idling for warm, idling for waiting companion anf idling for entrance and exit congestion the three common situations of the motor vehicle idling in the community.Secondly, This paper analyzes analyzes the driver behavior, temperature, humidity, traffic conditions and other motor vehicle idling emission factors, found driver behavior is a man-made factors, can reduce community in motor vehicle idling behavior by raising awareness of the driver to stop stalling. Based on the above analysis, this paper mainly aims at the small car, and puts forward the calculation method for the idle emission and fuel economy loss of the community.Thirdly, this paper take idling vehicle in the family area of Jiaotong University as an example. According to vehicle idling more serious area in the families area of Jiaotong University -- Beijing Jiaotong University primary school and two entrances and exits of community, calculating the morning and evening peak time of the idling emissions and fuel consumption separately by the calculation method. According to calculation result, Beijing Jiaotong University primary school’parents driving vehicle idling ratio is 10%, and the traffic of the northwest gate is less, pollutant concentrations are up to the standard, but short time of pollutants is still harm the student and residents’health. The idling of the Southeast door is the most serious, CO concentration is 21.48mg/m3, HC concentration is 1.63mg/m3, NOx concentration is 532.52μg/m3 and both of them exceeds the limit concentration in the area. It can be seen that the southeast gate of the motor vehicle idling emission situation is serious, needs to be improved.Finally, the families of Jiaotong University District as an example, this paper puts forward some measures on reduction of community from two aspects of transportation planning and policy. According to the planning of traffic flow lines, the results of using new technologies (automatic start stop technology, electric vehicles) can be seen, the effect is obvious. Therefore, community planning and construction should be fully considered to the community of the number of vehicles and the flow of vehicles, rational planning of community traffic; the government should strengthen the advance of new vehicle technology and actively promote; the driver should improve their awareness, changing driving behavior consciously while driving to reduce vehicle idling emissions. |
