With the rapid development of high speed railway (HSR), a rapid passenger transportation network connecting the various areas in China has been gradually formed.Meanwhile, due to passengers’ higher requirement for the service quality of HSR, the punctuality rate and transfer reliability have been the fundamental indicators to measure the service level of HSR. However, the operation organization of HSR is complex and influenced by a series of factors, such as severe weather, equipment failure, human factor and etc., which may cause the train unable to operation on schedule. Therefore, the study on how to restore train operation order and guarantee the transfer connection order is essential to maintain the service quality of HSR network.Based on the existing researches, it is stressed on how to guarantee the transfer connection of HSR in node stations network during the train operation adjustment in this paper. The main points are listed as below.1. The overview of HSR train operation adjustment. This part summarizes the reasons, features and strategies of HSR train operation adjustment, and then the research perspective of HSR train operation adjustment is determined.2. Analyzing the relationship between passenger transfer connection and HSR train operation adjustment. This part summarizes several modes of passenger transfer organization, analyzes the impact of train operation disturbances on transfer connection of both trains and passengers, and discusses the HSR train operation adjustment strategies as well as corresponding safeguard measures considering passengers’ transfer connection.3. The modelling of the HSR train operation adjustment considering passengers’ transfer connection in node stations. In this part, the HSR train operation adjustment model considering passengers’ transfer connection is established to reschedule passengers’ transfer connection plan, which is based on the train operation diagram matrix theory to describe the problem of train operation adjustment and optimized for the minimum total delay time of passengers.4. Example analysis. First, a simple example is designed to verify the feasibility of the model, applying three different strategies to implement the operation adjustment by CPLEX software. Then, a series of schemes with different number of stations, number of trains and train densities are designed and solved by the HSR train operation adjustment model. The time complexity of the model is also discussed to acquire the relationship between solution time and station number, train number and train density. Finally, a real scenario example, Wuhan-Changsha HSR Zone, is applied to verify the feasibility in real scenario. |
