The comprehensive urban park is an important part of urban green space system.It is the carrier to meet public outdoor recreation and entertainment needs,which plays the roles of "urban green lung","air purifier"and other essential roles. With the United Nations Environment and Development Conference held in Rio DE Janeiro, Brazil,in 1992,it will address environment and development issues of common concern of countries in the world which has been put on the agenda. The sustainable development of human society has gradually become the common pursuit of the people all over the world. Under the influence of the concept of sustainable development, urban areas is considered unsustainable real root of the problem,also is seen as the hope for the future to achieve sustainable development. The urban comprehensive park as an important part of urban green space system that deems it its duty to improve the environment is also actively exploring the road of sustainable development.There are two aspects of macroscopic and microscopic reasons that the Sustainable Urban Comprehensive Parks become the future direction of the City Park.From the macro perspective, achievig sustainable urban comprehensive park is the basis of sustainable urban green space system and the prerequisite for development of the sustainable urban environment. From the micro perspective,achieving sustainable urban comprehensive park itself can effectively prolong its service life and reduce the cost to build and maintain. Building sustainable comprehensive urban park which to realize the rational use of energy resources in the whole lifecycle process and save economic cost effectively is necessary to solve environmental problems and improve people’s quality of life.The content and features of the"ecological garden", "low carbon gardens", "saving garden" and "sustainable park" have been re-defined and distinguished by the application of sustainable development theory,system engineering theory, full life-cycle theory, which clearly define the function applicability, economic rationality, environmental coordination, technical suitability, social fairness and the connotation of cultural inheritance. From the evaluation, evaluation methods and evaluation stage of application and other aspects,the analysis has been taken on four kinds of sustainable green park landscape evaluation system which contains the current world’s most advanced LPS, SITES, LEED-ND, Singapore flag and Sustainable Landscape related evaluation system. The method of the evaluation index system construction has been summarized, on the basis of this puts forward the whole life cycle assessment method of the evaluation index system of sustainable urban comprehensive park. The preselect is completed by analyzing all stages of the whole life cycle sustainability assessment of comprehensive urban park.After consulting expert,the survey is taken on the degree of importance of the indicators. SPPS software is used to analyse reliability analysis, correlation analysis and principal component analysis of the preselected index,and the overlap and low importance of evaluations will be removed. The AHP is used to determine the weight of each level indicators, on the basis of which to establish the evaluation index system of the sustainable urban comprehensive park. The suitable and easy to operation index evaluation standard is established referred to national standards and related industry standards.
