Based On The PBC Mode Of Our Country Highway Maintenance Management Research

Highway is one of the most important infrastructures of today’s society. With a large amount of fund put into the construction in recent years, there is a general structure of highway network gradually taken into shape. The condition of transportation has been improved increasingly. For this reason, it’s obvious that highway plays an irreplaceable role in the development of the economy and the people’s livelihood. It is a little late for the construction of highway in our country. The first highway was built only 15 years ago. Merely after the Asian Financial Crisis, our government paid so much attention to it that quite a lot of manpower and financial resources were put into the construction. Therefore, the construction of highway in China stepped into a rapid way and the total mileage had climbed to 111900 kilometers. The railway track in use not only became the world first in early 2013, but also promoted the overall development of the nattonnl economy effectively.As the major section of highway administration, the maintenance of the highroad becomes more and more arduous at the same time. It is signficant for the safty of highway and supply of fast transportation and the mobility service in the initial period of time. According to the relevant date, a large number of highway would be repaired in 10 years. The road built at the very beginning is going to face the same situation. As the development of construction of infrastructures goes fast, the expansion of expressway will also develop rapidly and the operation of it requires more as well. Therefore, it seems that the maintence of highway is absolutely necessary for the continuous use and guarantee of the top level service of higroad. However, because of the short development history and the lack of managerial experience, the maintenance management in China hasn’t caught up with the world’s level. For all of this, this thesis puts forward the appropriate advice for the maintenance management combining the reality of our country and the analysis of experience from developed countries and districts.This study provides theoretical foundation and practical advice for the apply of PBC in the maintenance management of China combining the reality of it and aiming at the problems we have in our country on the basis of traditional maintenance contract as well as the real cases in foreign developed countries and districts.
